This movie is like the Lithuania love child of Pulp Fiction and Snatch--but.. works! There are odd moments of definite humor interspersed with senseless violence--again, it works. A combination of the actors' deadpan expressions and the directing of a decent script turn what should have been a cheap, pointless ripoff into a very entertaining movie. At least a couple scenes are there, I think, for pure shock value and seem excessive without adding anything to the film--but then again I am long out-of-touch with Lithuanian humor, so maybe it's just me, lol.

If Pulp Fiction and Snatch went to Lithuanian and had a foul-tempered lovechild, Zero 2 would be it. There are odd moments of hilarity interspersed with senseless violence--but, it works. A combination of the actors' deadpan expressions and the directing of a decent script turn what should have been a cheap, pointless ripoff into a very entertaining movie. At least a couple scenes are there, I think, for pure shock value and seem excessive without adding anything to the film--but then again I am long out-of-touch with Lithuanian humor, so maybe it's just selective memory on my part.
