Suffers from the noticeably lazy writing and insufferable, repetitive dialog that comes with movies about fanatic teen pop culture trends. So, basically the same type of **** you could expect from the Twilight series. But the character development is a little stronger, it's shot competently, and it's got some action, emotion and anticipation. An enjoyable flick...but nothing to remember.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" is a very "twilight" movie. It means everything to it's super-psycho fans, but for people who just like films, it's just a below-average blockbuster movie with a nice indie-rock soundtrack.

This new dose of vampire mush for puss:es is the worst load yet. It offers no payoff at the end, and not even any highlights throughout its duration. The plot literally flatlines after the first frame.

I went to the Twilight Saga event where I sat and watched all 3 movies beginning at 6:30 and ending at 2:30 only to avoid the lines (even though I own all of the dvd's). Believe it or not when I got there at 5:00 there was already a line starting for the midnight showing. So I was able to avoid the Miami heat and enjoy myself. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT. Security was tight to make sure people were not using their cell phones and taking photos. Which I was glad about because it made the movie more enjoyable for all of us. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT. A+++++ Loved it and will go again this weekend to watch in I-max.

i love this movie and me and my brother stayed up all night just to find it and we where soo tired when we found it . it was a really good movie and i like edward soo cute :) and bella always looks pale right ? hope you like the movie :) bye

great movie cant wait till next getting better each time/i like the way the wolfs and vampires join a pact to eliminate the new comers ,with some jelousy in between most of the pictures are good on here so you will not be dissapointed so enjoy the film x

It was a good movie but in light of the media attention it disappointed me. The fight scenes could be better especially between two vampires. They put good emphasis on the wolves but that could be because they are all CGI. All in all its worth watching but still leaves a bit to be desired

just saw this today at 10:15 in the morning, i'm not one for the midnight showings, even though i'm a twilight friek, i could wait 8 more hours. i thought this movie was gonna be good but not THAT GOOD!!!! i'm completely in LOVE with this movie, its DEFINITELY the best in the series so far!!!! kristen stewart(my goddess) is perfect in this movie, as expected, and rob has gotten better every movie. i really felt the chemistry between bella and edward in this one, which makes it more unbearable to wait for breaking dawn!!!! well, my favorite parts were definitely when jasper was training the cullens how to fight the newborns(that was awesomeness!!!) and when bella and edward leg-lock in the bed before he proposes to her(that part was sooooooo cute!!!!) overrall though, i was VERY SURPRISED at how PHENOMINAL this movie was, this is now my all-time FAVORITE movie!!!!! the ONLY thing that disappointed me in this movie was that they changed the character of Victoria, and i just think the other one in the first two movies was better for the part, but like i said, thats the ONLY thing. team:BELLA TWI-HARD FOREVER!!!!!!! my rating: 1 million stars for this movie, its just too good to be rated only 5!!!!! i HIGHLY recommend this movie!!!

This movie just took the life out of the book... they misplaced few scenes (not in proper orders)... and if you have read the book .. you will know why she hasn't changed yet .. or why her decision to choose someone is still being decided ...

when I was younger and into " Vamps " the guys didnt twinkle ..is movie made me want to BARF in my casket.....watch a real vamp movie..( Dark Shadows ) with barnbis Collins, he wasnt light in his loafers,like " TWILIGHT GAY NIGHT ...Might as well throw in " Buffie " the vamp slayer in for a three some,,,,,,and to make it more interesting,how about making a centapeed 3 some,now that would be a kick in the pants,,or should I say ass :)

Just watched this movie, and I have so many things wrong and right about it. I am one of these people who have read the book, yet hope that Bella will get eaten or something like that..ke putting a twist in the movies. I am all for the emo..."I love you" but "he is so hot" kinda movie but this just gets alittle too...less of a vampire flick..d more into a baby-doll movie (don't get me wrong I liked it though.) I don't really like the idea of sparkly undead drinking blood, next thing you know Edward will rescuse Bella on my Little Pony while wearing a Hello Kitty shirt....but we all know that if that sparkly vampire did that...he would be with Jacob not the emo Bella. (@.@) But I did expect more from the movie, with all the hype about it. However it DID not live up to its true "ability." But its a good movie, worth a watch. Maybe two or three. Not my exact cup of tea, but alittle treat if you want an escape from blood and gore and into the world of an emo girl and a guy who wears more body glitter than one gay guy should. 9/10 Can't wait to see the next one. Hopefully it will be 100 times better, here is for high hopes. <3

I am not a Twilight fan boy, I have never read the books nor watched the movies until the part 1 of the fourth book came out. That being said, I didn't mind this movie. Only bad thing about the acting was that Lautner sucked, Did not care for him at all. I like how they explained more of the characters' history as well. Also, I find this movie as well as the book a rather pointless journey. It would have been easier to kill off Victoria in the first book, deal with Bella's decision between Edward and Jacob in the second, then get married in the third. It just seemed like such a pointless journey especially when we all know how it's gonna play out (even if this wasn't based on a book series, It was rather predictable on who she was gonna choose in the end). Again, it was not that bad. A little predictable but I didn't mind it.

It's very unusual that the thrid ones be the better. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is even way better than New Moon and Twilight, more involving and much entertaining and fun to see. The action sequences were finally real and watchable and it doesn't focus so much on the love thing, just that it gives action a little more flow and topic. I definetly liked this one and if Breaking Dawn (prts. 1 and 2) are like this, the series, I guarantee, will start to grow.

Despite the fact that I despise these films, I thought that Eclipse was fairly viewable. There was more action which was desperately needed in the previous film whilst the storyline was half decent. It still seems to lack imagination in terms of direction and also is acted fairly poorly. It is almost like the production company has decided that they barely need to try considering the fact that they are almost guaranteed the money. I can't blame them if I am honest.

Bella, just get a life or end it. We are all just done. Kind of visually stunning film. That's pretty much I and everyone else can say...
Also Bella, it wouldn't hurt to surprise us all with a different facial expression...maybe?
