Went to see this in theater and I loved it. It's not better than the original but it is a solid tie, because the original is a great movie it's a legend, but it's from a different time it wasn't to long ago but it's still out of date. And this one speaks more for today's world, but it's a grate movie.
I've got to be honest though loved josh peck in The Wackness but I had my doubts about him in this movie, but he actually did a great job, and so did the rest of the cast. Solid plot and great actors I give it 8.5/10.

Powerful, riveting, adrenaline pumping. I watched from beginning to end. no dull moments. Josh peck is now an action star, move over Shia Lebeouf. 10/10

I found this film thrilling from start to end. The whole situation and rebellious nature just really took me. The acting was great and the plot immense. Deffo would recommend.

This was really good. I always love nuclear attacks on America, makes me appreciate the safety of my country :). This was a really good action film with plenty of character development and stuff. Deserves a decent 9/10

this movie is at the top of the list of how terrible movies have gotten in recent years. 1/5 character development, 1/5 plot, 3/5 action, 1/5 humor , 1/5 ending. did they write, cast and film this movie in one week? it seemed like it.

I enjoyed the movie, it was a more modernized ''today's'' remake of the original, with today's at-hand issues instead of the issues back in the early 80s. The acting was good, the directing was good, and the special effects were excellent. What I love about this movie is that it shows America's kids at their finest, instead of a movie concentrating on the ''bad-troubled'' kids in this country. I am sure if it ever came to this there would be plenty of kids who would honor their forefathers and stand up for this country. And it shows one reason why I will never give up my gun! 4/5

This movie was alright, but I was expecting more. Good action and fight scenes, but plot was pretty weak. 80:59 scared the **** out of me and I was NOT expecting that to happen...d the movie pretty much ended for me right there. Acting, especially by Peck, was not all that great. Good for a one time watch, and if there is a sequel I hope it is much better . Overall about a 6/10

I actually really enjoyed it, I just sat back and didn't think about plots or directing or anything just saw what the movie was. A nice form of escapism not intended to be a favorite of the critics. An enjoyable movie if you don't go looking for holes to poke at.
